Question Anics Skif 3000, valve not releasing air?

I wonder if anyone can help.

My Anics, isn't releasing air from the valve?

I put the bulb in normal, but when I pull the trigger there isn't any air releasing? I brought it to the gun shop & they had a 'quick' look at it but won't be able to look into it for a couple of weeks.

He said that the seal was o.k & must be the valve. Also when he inserted the second bulb & then released it he noticed that the bulb didn't punture properly. Any ideas what I can do to rectify it. As I would like to use it on saturday.

    Regards

Hi Paddy, not a good time to be breaking your toy's fella. if it's not breaking the seal try a paper shim on the bottom of the capsule to drive it home a bit further. if if it doesn't work bring it with you saturday, i'm sure one us will come up with something.

Like a sledge hammer or something????

Occasionally Mine dont allways puncture correctly, so I tighten it up as hard as I dare (dont want to damage the thread) then loosen it a tiny touch.

Which is advice that Paddy (i think) gave me when I first joined the bbs

Aparently they take a lot of TLC to perform properly.

Bring it with ya on Saturday, I'd like to have a play with one of these.
I think they look great, but heard lots of bad stuff about em.

    Still no DA?

I have to say whilst my skif is great fun (I haven't smiled so much in years) its shotgun groupings at 10m are hilarious.

edit out of interest can anyone get sub 4" groups??

Sub 4" groups yes, but it takes some doing because the trigger is so heavy and i do have the LB version, which has just released a whole co2 capsule through the grip, even less impressed with it now.

just giving all my pistols an outing ready for saturday.

Tried another 2 capsules, and again after a dozen shots it released all the Co2, it's as if the capsule moves in the grip.
