hi phil, strip down as follows.
1, remove the 2 stock screws,
2, unscrew the cylinder end cap, there is a spring behind it , not under any serious tension and only small, put both to one side
3, unscrew the screw on the front of the scope ramp
4, now tap (with a wood drift or simular) the scope ramp backwards about 1.5 inches or thereabouts, the whole trigger unit will move back out of the cylinder aswell, once back at about 1.5" the scope ramp can be lifted off and the trigger unit fully removed from the cylinder
5, now this is where you really need a spring compressor,, take up the tension on the back of the spring plug, still in the cyl, and carefully unscrew the plug bolt on the underside of the cylinder, THE SPRING WILL BE UNDER QUITE A BIT OF TENSION,, BE CAREFULL, you can now remove the plug and spring guide along with the spring
6, there is a pin in the under arm bridge, remove this and the pin from the breech block to remove the cocking arm, you can now remove the piston aswell
i think everything else is self explanitory,
re-build is just the reverse,, and you will def need a spring comp for that
hope all this rambling makes sense
atb
paul
ps, i think the two longer cocking arms should be straight,,
pps, i am still looking for a fore sight hood for my b55,, anyone got a spare to sell ??
