One of the best pcp's around, very consistent and more accurate than you.
Difference in lengths is down to air fill capacity, the Classic length will give around 90 shots per charge while the carbine version will give 60. Both are as accurate as each other, some say the shorter version is more pointable, but I prefer more shots. Get to a shop and try both if possible.
From East LOndon your best bet for a well stocked shop where you can get a feel for the guns is the Airguncenter.
I personaly prefer the feel of the carbine version, shorter, more pointable IMO but less shots.
If you can get over to Swanley one weekend I can let you loose with a 310 rifle and a 410 carbine to see the diference.
To give you a general idea.

I'm newish to this game too, just got my second rifle. The first was a webley exocet, nice. Second is now three weeks old...S400. Brilliant! You could buy one of these sight unseen and not be dissappointed.
I got the carbine with walnut stock and a carbon fibre silencer. Mmm.
