    Original Mod 5

I unearthed this from a box in the loft - long forgotten. Not in the best of condition, but it shoots

Not of much interest to me - I only shoot rifles now, but i thought some of you might like it.

I'll have a better look at it tomorrow. I only looked to see if the barrel was clear before loading and firing it.

The rust is mostly surface. Again, closer look tomorrow.

I had not put it here to sell it, just as an item of interest really. I had not considered it to be of any value.

I will take more photographs, showing better detail.

Do I take it that these are not too common then ?

What about age ? Can anyone give an approximate dob for it.

1959 to 1962/3 - quite unusual with the wooden (as opposed to plastic) grip.

    More info + pics

Had a good look at this today. Light rust to most of the metalwork. The only place that has pitting is on the front sight tunnel. I've tried to show this in the photograph. The tunnel has a bit of a "ding", but not drastic.
A couple of the pins have been damaged
It looks like there would have been a metal badge on each side of the grip. These are missing.
The bore is in really good condition Rifling looks sharp, with no sign of rust or pitting.

    Anyway, have a look yourselves.

That's it. Not a great deal of bluing left i'm afraid, but if your estimates of age are right, it's knocking fifty years old.
