I have been away from this wonderful forum for quite a few years. A friend of mine however just brought this thread to my attention.

You are referring to a gentleman with the name Dave Lancashire.
The connotation to his forum name DaveL is confusing me. Please tell me this thread is not referring to Dave Lankshear aka DaveL !
