    The sweetest webley pistol?

I have a rather worn Webley Tempest which I might refurbish, and I was just wondering which of the many Webley pistols is considered the nicest shooter. I repaired someone's Premier a while back and it felt nicer than the Tempest, and seemed to be made of sold steel, but I didn't give it a proper accuracy test.

What do the Webley experts think?

I am no expert but have a few Webley pistols, the best one for feel and well it’s just nice to shoot is my Premier E series black finish and grips.
It just pushes all the right buttons. Accurate at 10yds.
I have a very accurate Nemesis but it’s not in the same league as the old pistols.
I like my Tempest also but the Premier for me any day.

I've had just about every webley pistol at some point but my favourite has to me my namesake Premier The only gun i can honestly say i'll never sell!

I always buy webley pistols for spares and repair them for something to do and they are a pleasure to work on, a pleasure to shoot and asthetically pleasing too

    Cool

i'm no expert but of my five or six webleys, the senior is my fave, .177 and a lovely and ultra comfy curly trigger blade...

it's the third one on in the pic...

    Sweetest Webley pistol

I agree with the choice of the slant-grip Senior, having shot all types over the years. Extremely well made and a nice trigger action.

    best webley pistol to shoot

Dificult!, Senior E series was allways my favourite, then i got an Earlier series B and thats better again. The latter pistols Huracane and Tempist feel totaly different to shoot due i think to the more modern or (cheaper materials used in there consrtuction). Not a criticism just my observation, i own most of the older Webley pistols with exception of mark1 and the Tempist, love shooting all.

    cheers mate

strange thing is that the missus hates my guns and once talked me into getting rid of the majority of my 36 gun collection but if i said that i was going to get rid of my webley piostols- she'd have a fit!!!

she won't actually shoot them but just says that she really likes them (i think because they're small compared to rifles)
