You'll have to count me out on this one, my present location is a little limiting, my guns being 7800 miles away

    I am in for both.
    I will email regarding payment.

Also do you have to use the same pistols every month.
As i would like to use my Model 10 and smith 686 for open sights and my HW45 and desert eagle with red dots (it would be one or the other in each category)

    Regards

    Hi Kelley

I think it would be best to use the same gun for whichever category, that way you can see how consistant you are.

I have replied to your E:mail

I have sent the money today, and i will be using,
    1. HW40 open sights
    2. HW45 with red dot

I am not a very good shot and i am lucky if i get a couple of hours pistol shooting in, in a month.

Now if i do manage to get a couple of hours shooting in, do i,
shoot snooker breaks for 2 hours and then submit my best score (therefore submitting an above average score).

    Or,

Practice for an hour or so and then say this next score, good or bad is the one i am going to submit (probably giving a more accurate account of my ability).

    Regards

    Hi Kelley

    Thanks for the payment.

Now I'm not a good shot either, as we all know

I think sometimes I try too hard & fail miserablly, so just relax when you shoot. I wish I was able to do that

Each comp lasts for one week, with three comps in total (1 per month). So do some practice within the week, then shoot the cards & submit your score.

You never know you might suprise yourself.

Just to go over the rules regarding clipping two segments.

If i my first shot hits clipping two red segments, one point scored carry on.

If my third shot (second on red) lands squarely in or clips either of the two reds i previously clipped, game over.

So basically its OK to hit two red segments providing neither have already been hit, scoring you one point. But by doing so they are both considered potted so if either are hit again, game over.

I hope this comp carries on indefinitely as it does not require the use of a co2
or pre charged pistol as is the case with the police pistol, as i find these too noisy to shoot at home most of the time (when the neighbours are in).

    Hi Kelley

If on your first shot you clip both. Pick one segment as potted, then carry on if you clip the potted segment again or any other then it is game over.

Try & aim at the top of the segments where there is a bigger target area.

    Regards
    Paddy.

p.s less than a week away for the competition to start

p.p.s If you are able to how about posting a picture of your shot target??
