    webley senior age ?

    is there anyway of finding out the year of manufacture of a webley senior i have come across by serial number ?

    Senior

    According to Hiller's book, the pre war Seniors did have a recognisable serial number but not the post war models. best put up a pic and info for the Webley experts. First model 1930-1935 straight grips...slant grip Senior 1935 to 1939. Barrels have no "knurling" just smooth. Post war Senior has knurling on barrel.

    I have a book on Webley Air Pistols so if you can send some photo's (with a picture of the box if you have it) I will try and give you a approx age.
