Smile Blackburn Rifle and Pistol club

Hi - I'm in Blackburn Rifle and Pistol Club. The annual fee is £90 or £60 for seniors (cannot remember what the junior and family memberships are) with a range fee of £2:50. Club has 2 X 10M ranges, 1 X 25 yard and 1 X 50M ranges, all indoors all heated in winter and an indoor car park with lighting. There are flushing toilets, a social area (with pool table) and a self service snack bar with hot and cold drinks and a shop with an onsite RFD for targets ammo, guns and consumables. All in all its a pretty good place to shoot.

    Hi There,
At Keighley we have rate of £25 for the first 6 months probationary membership during which time you can shoot air weapons or rimfire. After that air weapons membership is £75 per year and rimfire £170 (includes targets) but we have no range fees so it is possible shoot 5 or 6 times a week at no extra cost.

    Cheers

Not a member. Pay £5 per visit to shoot as long as you want. Used to be £3 up until a few months ago.

If you are youngish, and your club does life membership, usually 10 times annual subscription, take it.
    I paid £500 for a life membership at H&PRPC in about 1986.
Paid nothing since, shot thousands of times, still shooting weekly.
Saved a huge amount of money, at least £2,000, never bothered to calculate the exact amount.

    Smile Club Fees

Rivington Fiflemen is £75 per year. This enables free visits to the indorr and out door range. This is reduced as members join part way through the year and requires at least one atendance to a woking party or Young shoots or charity event.

    Excellent value for money.
