My father just called to advise he was thinking of selling his BSA .22

Not sure of value as he had been told not very common

    Condition 90%+

    Sorry not sure of spelling

Theres a nice one on sale here for £400

Depends entirely on condition, box, paperwork etc. Around £300 for a 90% one might be right?

Hi Michael. Being an RB-2 variant it will be worth more than the tap loader type but being the far more common .22 won't imo cross the £300 mark secure posted in the real world. To high-light this, I sold an RB-2 .177 Stutzen for £250 plus post six months ago (pre credit crunch) which was maybe £50 under value, but I needed money quick to put towards a Centenary while it was still available. Also, one as you describe has just sold on here for £300 posted and took nearly two weeks to attract a buyer. Hope this helps . Atb: G.

I sold a .22 Stut. a couple of months back for £250 collected, I had it up for £300 + post and had a bit of interest at that price, I think anything over that price is a bit steep unless it's totaly immaculate with box etc.

    Cheers

I bought one from a dealer recently in very nice nick for 225 plus post. It had a nice Simmons variable scope on and QD studs too.
