    Cool Help required

    Dear all,
I have a bit of a problem trying to put a HW97K in 177 back to life, and despite fixing these and 77s in the past I am stuck with this one.

    First thing
When I assemble it without the safety it shoots fine, as soon as I put the safetyy in, it will cock but will not fire, I have tried all ways around, has anyone any ideas?????????

    Secondly
The loading lever detent button is stuck too far into the cocking handle, any ideas how to get it out???????

    Trigger

    Hi Armourer

Take the trigger out of action
Cock the trigger whilst out of action ( push sear down till it locks)
    fit trigger back in action
    pull trigger
    She should be ok then.

    Search

There is some more info about this probem if you do a search about the Rekord trigger.
I have some info on stripping the Rekord trigger and tuning one if you would like me to email it to you?

Cheers mate I would appreciate that, the way I feel at the moment I am likely to sell it for the £50 it owes me in the parts I have bought for it, if I cannot fix it.
