    80% of our club members use these in the Local clubs Umarex competitions. Feels pretty much like the real thing at least as I remember it.

    The HW 45's a good choice too, from what I hear, though I have no experience with it.

    But they're apples and oranges things: the S&W is a solidly made, full size, full weight facsimile of Smith's cartridge revolvers. It's a 10-shot CO2 repeater, lots of fun but not as powerful as the HW 45, which is a probably- even-more-solidly made replica of the Colt .45 automatic. It's more powerful than the Smith, and is a single shot springer.
