EV2 MKII - Anyone successfully free float the barrel?

Curious if any of you guys have attempted this successfully? Also, on your side of the pond, do you all keep the factory muzzle flip compensator or are you installing aftermarket brakes?

    Regards,

I've not got one personally but most seem to keep the standard brake, I know quite a few people who swear by free floating the barrel but I also know of a few who went back to standard after free floating opened their groups out.

I have both the MK1 and MK2 and have had no reason to free float the barrel or replace the brake. I would like to hear why people find the need to do this, im guessing its impact change as the air is used in the cylinder ?.
