Thinking of buying one of these scopes, but which one?

They do a 6 - 24 x 50 and a 8 - 32 x 44

The 50 has the advantage of a large front end (more light)

Where as the 44 won't need high mounts and has more mag

I've done a search, and both seem to be good value for the money

Any comments on these scopes, especially clarity of optics

The words Clarity and Blazer shouldn't be used in the same sentence IMO , the lower mag ones are respectable but the high mag ones are shocking for the money, the cheap BSA's are as "good" if you want cheap , Try and buy a secondhand Mag 44 if you wish to stick with simmons as they are a good reliable scope.

The problem with value for money scopes is quite a lot offer great specs and crap quality, I would at a minimum try looking through them before purchase

I second what Lloyd has said, I had the 6 x 24 x 50 and would definitely not recommend it
