    Arrow Compact Scope

I have not been using my Lighthunter as much as I would like to as I cannot find a suitable scope... can anyone help?

I am after a nice light scope to put on the FN12W Skeleton Lighthunter. Varaiable mag up to lets say 9x. The scope will be used for a light hunting outfit/garden plinking/ratting.

I have tried various scopes on the Lighthunter ranging from a Hawke Varmint 6-24x42 to a Super Sniper 10x42 but the ballance just wasn't there, although the Varmint was ok.

I like the look of the Simmons WTC 1.5-5 and the Expedition 1.5-6 but I need something with PA for short range/garden plinking.

What are the WTC's like at short range is the parallax a problem?

I have looked through some old Tascos 2-7x32 (with PA) that I liked the look off and the optics seemd very good, but they are very difficult to find I am told. (Has anyone got one for sale?)

What else is out there around £100 mark?

    Thanks.

    Thanks for the information.

Any alternatives to the WTC 1.5-5x20 (preferably with PA)?

    Thanks Seggy.

I have looked at the AGS 3-9x compact, they are quite nice scope and fairly cheap...

What is that 16x56 like? I have not seen these before, AGS seems to be bringing a lot on new stuff out recently. Like that SWAT model?

Back to Compacts though, I did a bit of searching as well and I quite fancy the Burris Compact 3-9x32 with PA or the Leupold Compact 3-9x33 EFR with PA, any opinions on these (ok they are more than 100 pounds... but no harm in looking is there?)

Any idea where I can get them in the UK?

Any one got one they want to get rid off?

    Nurek,

I have both a Tasco 2-7*32 AGFM and a Leupold 3-9*33 EFR, and as I have too many scopes (not enough rifles?), so I'm looking to sell either.

You are welcome to come and have a look through both if that will help you decide.

    Cheers,

    Guesty.
    N.B. Please email if interested.

yes it is a swat model. got it from BAR but its not on the web page.
optics are fine but i would put a bigger turret on the elevation so i could mark it up.
the side wheel is small and as it is its only suitable for focusing. could be better for approximate range finding with a bigger wheel.
P.S. its BIG, 20 inches with supplied sunshade on
