Talking Now I feel a proper Boys club member!

Can hold my head up high as a proper UBC Member now.

Got myself my first C02 Anics skiff 3000a. I know, a lot of bad reviews but couldn't help myself.

Got a Webley tempest coming my way too hopefully at weekend so very happy.

Now before I go entering the snooker competition, I might just have to see if I can shoot the things rather than hold em.

You'll be needing a spare mag for the police pistol comp!

    I do have a spare.

I do have a spare but good god. Reckon I'm gonna have to dedicate some time first to hitting the target really slowly before I take on the police pistol.

That always helps, Boggy. But I believe that you'll find PP a lot easier to get the hang of, and quickly, than you may think at this point.

Note I didn't say that it's easy to score well.

Don't worry about being able to actually hit anything, just get entering the comps and learn as you go - there's plenty of wooden spoons to go around!

Ahh well. That's encouraged me to have a crack at everything then.

Been reading the PP rules and stuff. I actually can't wait to give it a go.

Tomorrow morning in fact I shall be having a fair crack to see what my pistol gets up to.

I'm seriously itching to get out there with it.

Is a holster necessary for the PP? I've seen a couple of really nice ones today and am tempted. But likewise if I can just hold it in a lowered stance before starting the count and firing, may as well do that.

But like I say, come morning I shall see just how bad I really am!

I'll bet you'll be a lot better than you think you will be, and even if you do poorly, that just means, look how much you can expect to improve next time!

No holster is needed. Nice to have one so as to have a proper place to rest the pistol between firing: but we begin all firing stages with the pistol unholstered: in the shooters hands, but lowered.

Hi Brendan, First pistol hey, bet it wont be your last, buying them is almost as addictive as shooting them, as i'm sure the rest of the gang will agree.

Don't worry about your scores, just have FUN, thats what the UBC is all about, you will improve with time, just have a look at the comp scores over the last 8 months and you will see what i mean.

    Happy Shooting

    Unhappy Gutted

    Absoloutely gutted.

The Anics skiff that has a notorious reputation for jamming has jammed.

    After two useable shots.

Now it is jammed, cocked and I am totally unable to remove the mag.
I did manage to make it safe however by blowing the co2.

No idea what to do. Bought it on here the other day. Not been able to use it obviously.

Any suggestions would be very helpful....... 65 quid is an expensive bookend.

Hey, it functions just like a "real" automatic pistol! Sorry mate, I have no idea how to fix one.

I get the feeling your a happy little Bunny,

Unlike poor Brendan with his Skif.

Never had one Jam, but i'm sure it must be an easy enough fix.

i would only use flathead pellets this normally helps. (when it working again)
