    Whatever "happened" with the RAPE?

    Meaning, "Real Air Pistol Enthusiasts".

This, a self-conscious "counter" to the UBC, was supposed to promote interest in the more powerful air pistols, such as the HW 45.

Was it intended as just a tongue in cheek parody, or for-real? I never heard anything further.

With a name like that and the sensitivity that the media have in this county to shooting I hope it is never heard of again.

I was an honorary member of R.A.P.E. for a while, well until Andy got banned the first time

    So now I don't R.A.P.E anymore.......

Too bad, it would have been fun to have something promoting interest in the more-powerful air pistols.

Well, I'm not going to start one such: got enough to do with the UBC comps and its' Police Pistol comps. Along with a few other things in life....
