The HW70 is a break-barrel springer with excellent accuracy and a very nice trigger. It is not as glamorous as its sisters but has a certain charm and is well worth the money as a target trainer or plinker.

    Weihrauch Pistols

I've got a 40 and a 70 and they are both excellent pistols. I agree with Hsing-ee about the 70. A lovely charming spring air pistol of the the old school with a great trigger. Enough has been written about the 40, the 70 seems to be almost forgotten these days.

I've got a late 70 with the black grip and safety, but for true charm try and get an earlier model without the safety, with the brown grips and the HW medalion.

With the pistol you already have I would go for a HW45 as its just that little bit different.

I had a HW40 very nice quite accurate good trigger but too light.

HW45 great for can mangling and targets bit hold sensetive.

I want to try a HW70 some time in the future.

I bought a HW40 today, and it is pure QUALITY.
It has got a cracking trigger, i find it very much like the trigger on my HW100.
In as much as, do not so much as rest your finger on it untill your are 100% on target, as it is so light and crisp.

Before some one says you should not touch the trigger untill on target anyway.
    I know.
