Help finding info on unusual airgun.

About 10 years or so ago i remember reading an interesting article on an unusual pre-charged airgun. Trouble is i can't remember who made it or what it was called! It was going to be made by one man and he was taking orders before he made a batch. I think he needed to fill up 50 orders. Of course he had a pre production model and i think it was being tested by Terry Doe. It was unusual in that it's stock was in two parts. The front part wasn't long and thin or like a pistol grip. It was disk shaped but was held vertically, about the size of a tea saucer. Also the loading breach rolled out sideways from the barrel on a hinge for re-loading. I remember he used weihrauch barrels in these guns and that they were single shot and very compact. Does anyone know what they were? Were they ever made? Did he get enough orders? Terry Doe realy liked it. Sorry my description is so vague! Wish i had kept all my old airgun magazines. Any info would be most welcome as i have never heard about them again.

This sounds like the pre-charged rifle made by Graham Trim, and called the 'Nimrod'. At the same time he made another called the 'Black Fox' which was tested by Airgun World. There have been references to both on BBS in the past I believe.

Sounds a bit like the Nimrod. The breech rolls out sideways to load.

Here is a pic of mine.

Happy collecting matey, enjoy the addicton (I do ), and your next parcel from the W-B armoury will be wing-ing it's way up to you from deepest Essex before the week is out . Atb: G.

Thanks Gareth. Not been on the bbs much lately due to a cold so looking forward to the package to cheer me up.

Have quite a few more pictures of all the stuff I have purchased lately to add to the gallery, just hope the wife does not get hold of that link.
