John Bowkett would be the best man to talk to; he will blueprint it and get the trigger as good as it can be.
Alternatively you could sell it to me as I'm looking for a Firebird

I have an accurate, consistant BSA Firebird Express but am disappointed with the trigger mechanism. Does anyone know if it can be replaced with a better two stage unit or if the original one can be improved at all.
Thanks.

The Firebird already has BSA's pseudo two stage trigger. I had this trigger on a Spitfire and thought it was well upto the job for the price of the gun. It's no match unit but certainly OK. If yours is poor then John Bowkett can and does fettle them if you want to send it off.
