I RECENTLY FOUND A SET OF PREDITOR HOLE PUNCHES FOR MAKING PLUGS OUT OF WOOD TO COVER INSET SCREWS. BUT FOUND THAT THEY ALSO CUT OUT PERFECT BREACH WASHERS FROM LEATHER WITH THE VARIETY OF CUTTERS YOU CAN CUT FROM HALF INCH DOWN TO AN EIGHTH INCH. WELL WORTH KEEPING YOU EYES OPEN FOR .

Ive found that replacing the leather breech washer on break barrel BSF, and maybe some other rifles, with one and a half 'O' ring (with the half underneath to allow for the canting hole), is far easier than making and fitting a leather breech washer.
