Webley Excel-required

Hi ,

I saw an immaculate example of one of these on my last visit to New Avon Arms in Bristol think they wanted £150 for it.

It had a silencer on it and scope but I think it did have the rear open sights with it.

Not sure if they will post to a RFD but when I asked if Blackpool Airguns could send a gun to them on my behalf the owner was incredibly rude and refused point blank stating he would not help another gun shop out even though I had offered to pay him for his trouble.

I have an Excel myself and will never part with it!!

Think the Excel is starting to shine after all these years as people seem to give them more credit these days than they used to.

I was suprised myself to see how much they wanted but it was immaculate like I said, I wouldn't pay it though.

I don't think they will ever be worth a lot in our life time.

After I recently tuned mine it now puts Bisley Practices into the the same hole at 25 yards and my girlfriend was hitting knock down targets at the same range too.

Like you say they are a handy gun to have to hand, hope you find the one your after.
