I was just looking at a picture of a ripley ar5s and on the side it had extra engravings, on the pic looks like a name, was this an extra optional if you ordered a ripley.
some of the rippers had large engravings it might have the makers name ?. do you have pic or no what the name was

Quite a few Ripleys had the name of the owner and the date of manufacture scribed into the action block near the trigger-only visible when taken out of the stock

MINE WAS ENGRAVED SUCKER
on the opposite side to where it says ripley ar5s, it has the makers name which is sr wilkins but also some other writing. heres a link to a picture and previous item on the bbs.
