Sounds like a mixed Christmas, Tony. But think of the fun you'll have with that knockdown target!

I didn't get an air pistol. Am almost embarrassed to say what I did get, since I know my UK mates miss their cartridge pistols - - but Jan got me a powderburner pistol: a Taurus Judge .45 Colt. Holds .410 shotshells, too!

We took it to the range yesterday - shoots well, a bit to the left in my hands. Recoil isn't that bad, even one-hand/weak-hand, with the neoprene grips. Even Jan had a go with it, and enjoyed it!

So, Santa was very good to me this year.

    Jim

P.S. Jan didn't want a new pistol, so I got her jewelry.

    That's a girl for you!

Maybe we could get a new government for christmas, not that it would make much difference.

    Enjoy, Jim

Santa put me onto a very nice BSA 240 in .177, to go with its brother in .22 that I already had, but alas he expected me to buy it myself.

To be fair to him, its been some years since I was a good boy

I haven't had one for christmas, but I'm buying a .22 Webley Hurricane off a forum member. I dread to think how much .22 pellets are going to cost me!

Still a lot cheaper than .22 long rifle cartridges, Garry.

    Hi all
I bought a Crosman 1322 four months ago off a member and decided to give it to Me for Christmas.
So as not to arouse my wifes suspicion and alert her to the fact that I'd been buying more guns I hid it in the one place she'd never look.

Anyway since picking it up off the top of the vacuum cleaner I've been getting some nice tight groups with it.

    All the best Mick

Your partner's got air pistols confused with marriage, mate!
