    DIANA model ?

My grandfather has a diana rifle which is very old, pre war maybe i dont know because it was given to him from a friend, it has rear sights that only slide side to side in a knotch that is on the rear of the rifle.
i havent looked for a serial number on it yet because its at my grandparents house.I have also looked at all the diagrams on this webpage http://www.gunspares.co.uk/shopdispl...ana%2FOriginal

    jacobasmith,

A photo is the thing to get, as then one of the pre-war experts will be able to identify the rifle. Diana AKA Mayer and Grammelspacher, made loads of different models of air rifles over the years, with at least 12 or so falling into the pre-war category. A photo is the only way to get a positive ID.
