I just shot mine! Didn't do the side match, though: I hope to be able to do that tomorrow.

I won't say what I did, and I wasn't nearly as good as PhilG or Cookie usually do, but I was a lot better than I usually do.

    Hi Jim,

Just posted my results off to you, thanks very much for the trip down memory lane. I used to shoot El Prez with a S&W Mod 28 with hand loaded 357 mag rounds.

I`m just off to sit quietly in the corner and have a little cry, good job I shot first.

    regards

I didn't get too picky about timing for the side shoot, Sensei: I'll basically leave it up to each participant. All must be double action shots, of course! Main thing with the 2 body shots is just fire, hold position, fire again.

Then with the head shot:just raise pistol, take aim, fire.

That circle on their heads is smaller than it looks! And remember: the head shot scores 10, or it scores 0:the "6" area doesn't count.

Ah, Mike: I KNEW from your scores last round that you were no newbie at this!

Sorry that it brought back bittersweet memories Let's hope our shoots can bring back the sweet part.

    4 scores in so far!

So far, 4 have turned in main shoot scores, 2 side shoot scores.

I know that the cold's a problem! Please don't get sick: but don't forget to get out there and take a shot at it, if the weather isn't TOO awful.

It surely would stop him cold in real life, Tony! But as per our rule as stated earlier: no, we need to stick with the "10 points if through the 10-point circle, zero points if otherwise" rule.

    Sorry.

I hope to get the hang of that, with Jan's help, this weekend, Pad. After I post the monthly scores, I'll do the leader board.

    Not Too Late?

    Jim,

I sent a message to join UBC today and obviously I'm here now - I take it I'm not too late to submit to the January contest am I? If not at least I'll have at least saturday to practise!!

I've a S&W 586-6 and at last it looks like I can put it to good use.
