Whats it worth??

I have been given this by a friend to check it over for him. Its a BSA Cadet Major in original condition. The blueing is gone but there is no pitting. There are a few scratches in to the stock and a tiny chip at the front of the forend.
It is complete and shoots really rather nice

He has asked me if I could find out what its worth as hes interested in selling it.

So.....Could someone give me some idea of the value please?
