Going to the OP, DO NOT GET HIM THE AR10! I've not heard one good review of them (and that's also reading the 'yellow forum') without a LOT of work being put into them.

    Now, now Tony.

I can easily revert what I've done on the UBC Website

Or I can just pay you a visit & wrap that AR10 off your head , there again I'd probably miss

(actually that was rather funny )

I was going to post it the latter way Tony but as you can see from your post it could be easily misconstrued . So methinks for peace of minds sake I'll stick to CHUM FROM BRUM eventhough he is my BRUM CHUM . MUCH SAFER THAN THE LATTER DON'T YE FINK .

And very polite and well mannered kids they are too. Just the sort we need in the sport.

My vote would also be for the HW 30s, (as previously suggested by BBS member Andrew Richards), with the Rekord trigger, weighs 6lbs, produces 7ft/lbs and feels like a tuned gun out of the box has very little recoil and subsequently is extremely accurate. My son is 10 and when he could be bothered to shoot can load it himself and hits knock down targets at 30 yards.

I shoot it occasionaly and it always impresses. From memory you can special order them from your local HW dealer just takes two or three weeks at least it did last time I bought one.
