    Hi, I'm Brutuz

Hi, I'm Brutuz, located near Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

Married, no kids, 4 cats, we like to travel, both ride Suzuki motorcycles and I've always been into air pistols.

Bought a Crosman Mark II, a Sheridan HB20 and a cheap break barrel riffle in the '80's.

Recently bought a Crosman 1377c and started plinking paper targets in the attic again, quite addictive, yesterday got me a 2250B

Mounted the scope, didn't like it, can't seem to get a good view, so removed it again.

Adjusting the rear site and halfway changed to peep

    Almost got it

Front sight hasn't got a tight fit, needs some glue.

It's fun to shoot and good value for money.

A bit louder than my other guns.

Will be lurking a few days and afterwards hope to participate aswell

    Cheers all

Welcome to the BBS and to the airpistol section.
Join the UBC and enter the comps.
It makes pistol shooting on your own more fun.
And they are all a great bunch, with their tounge firmly in their cheek.

Yep! No need to join a club, pay dues, or make trips there: no need for expensive equipment. Just an air pistol, six yards of safe shooting space, either indoors or out: and targets that you print out from here.

    And pellets, of course.

I second that! I believe you'd be our first member from the Netherlands.

    Hi Ray

Because I realy like the glow front sight on the 2250B I bought these parts:

    FRONT SIGHT ASSEMBLY (CROSMANPART#CRS5177-060) = 4.50Euro

    FRONT SIGHT (CROSMANPART#B19-2-01-1) = 3.95Euro

For as far I could see no difference between the two.

The first attempt to mount one on the SSP-250 wasn't a succes because I couldn't fit the front sight hood and the front sight itself had been cut too low. Besides that it didn't fit the barrel because I dind't manage to shape the bottom properly.

Reluctantly I've cut the original front sight and slided the cut glow part of the second sight in, super glued it, mounted in on the barrel, slided back the front sight hood and adjusted the rear sight. This plinks a lot better.

Maybe I'll try to mount the remaining glow sight on the 1377c but my technical skills aren't that good so maybe I'll pass on that one, probably will buy a red dot.
