Diana 54 FAC in 60m with Crosman Premier 14,3 gr. The one shot near the centre is 4,5 cal. I will try to make some groups and with 48 0,177 and 54 0,177 when they are ready after some shoots for contiosioning couse of the tuning they have. I agree that the new Diana stocks looking good and i wish for fair price and capability with 54s.

May be it is a new edition of this trigger, based on the new T05.

Are these rifles anything like the old Original 45's? If so then it's likely to be a very good brute of a gun...

Went to the Newark show today and whilst visiting the RUAG Ammotec stand I was introduced to Mr Mayer, son of the owner, also the Sales Director and was pleasently surprised as they were very interested to listen to any of the comments I made, good and bad.

Whilst there they showed me the 56 Th this looks a stunning rifle, although in its present guise a very heavy rifle - it was the protoype rifle. It had a new adjustable trigger, I couldn't get much info on this but hopefully it will be finalised for production in June of this year.

One of the things that was mentioned was the slight redesigning of the rifle aimed more at the 12ftlbs market with all the included benefits of doing this, faster lock time, etc. Another thing was the replacement of the plastic parts with metal ones, to which I was told this is being looked at.

All in all it was nice to see that a company listened to the shooters, well one of its shooters, using it's products. Hopefully some of the things mentioned will end up in production rifles sometime soon.

    regards,

    Matt

Will post some pics, when I get it back.

Picked it up from Dave, aka Bonnie and Clyde today took it straight down to John Ostler to have a scope rail made for it so will be a week or so before I pick it up and start to do some shooting.

John is also making me some adj cheek pieces so I can do a stock for the 54.

One question, Dave was unsure how to set the sliding sledge / whatdoyamacallit parts up so any clues as to how I need to set it?

    regards,

    Matt

I will try to explain with my little English. When the air gun is cock push down to the stock holding it from the barrel . If is going easy back you must give, turn clockwise, the screw that it is under the front screw of the trigger block. If it is difficult to push the barrel back you must tern the screw to the left. In the begging of ajusting it is good NOT TO HAVE SCOPE ON IT. Shoot after the first steps to see if it has good behavior. If its ok put the scope and couse of the extra weight he must ajust the mecanism again with small regulations. Hope to write something undersantamble .

Ora has it in one. Nothing much more be said.

I had a 54 but sold it on and to be honest I don't miss it at all.

My new T06 trigger turned up today with the piston, must say the trigger off the rifle feels a vast improvement to the previous one.

    Differences:

Adjustable for first stage travel - although it does say it has been set to the shortest length so thus can only be increased - am thinking maybe a screw could be added to the front to allow further adjusting.
Adjustable for First stage weight and trigger pull weight.
    Metal trigger blade.

Initial thoughts are (off the rifle at the moment) There are no sideways movement to the blade, it feels very consistent to pull a tad heavy although at the moment it is as set at the factory. The blade is a big improvement in feel over the previous version, it also looks an easier design so an adjustable blade could be fitted.

    regards,

    Matt
