    One more Daisy

    Hi Again,
whilst Ive been on here tonight a neighbour has brought his "air rifle" over in the hope of finding its value. It is a Daisy "underlever" he swears it fires shot out of it that he used to load out of a tube! I am somewhat doubtful of this as the gun makes a "bang" when it is fired. Has anyone got a date or even a value for this that I can show him tomorrow or in the week?
Thanks-I realise that this maybe a bridge too far!

    Daisy

    Hello
Brian here the daisy collector, what he has there is a model 660 I think
which is just a pop gun, dating from the 70's.
    Hope that helps.

    Daisy 660 Buntline

Hi this looks like the Daisy 660 Buntline made during the 60s 70s era, have a couple of these that have a crude open port piston & spring system, pushing out a cork, I would doubt FAC limit.

But a nice item, getting hard to find.

    Cheers Glynn.

    Smile Daisy

    Hello Eddie
Yes it's the model 660, made in the early 70's, some had the richochet sound
also added a few drops of oil to make it smoke, just a pop or cork gun.
Value in the States very poor as there are a lot out there.
Have been talking to a seller who has 4 of these to sell, if anyone wants to buy a load of Daisys (tinplate and BB) I can put you on to him.
He wants to sell the lot in one hit (36) to many for my collection.
    Good luck
    Brian

    Talking Daisy

    Hello Edd
The condition of them was a bit ropey been around a while with out any care and attention, Oh I forgot to say Model 40 arrived yesterday(Magpie).
We managed to do a deal, not bad condition needs some TLC.( got in through
without any backlash from her in doors)
Give my best to your good lady
    Good hunting
    Brian
