Hi all I have just bought a new silencer for my 410, I undid the small grub screw on the muzzle end but it won't come off, it turns but thats it. Am I missing something.
Thanks in advance To Blue
Nope you aren't missing anything. did you unscrew the grubscrew all the way?
The one on my S400 came off with no trouble.
Depending when Air Arms made your model, Sometimes they glued the muzzle part and the bolt. Blow lamp works a treat, Just wave the flame over the part (Only a little) and "Wiggle" the part,It should get looser and looser and come off.
Mine also came off effortlessly, If you bought the gun off someone else they may have used some loctite or similar![]()

Thanks for your advice this is a new gun only two months old. I have tried grips and i still can't get it off ?????????? what now.

mine was tight when i tried to get if off. use the heat method. it should work. if not cool the barrel and heat the muzzel {expand and contract principle try a vice. if you think that was hard wait till you try getting the silencer on ..........![]()
i believe a dab of oil on the barrel end will assist you, or even some soap...yes soap !! friction free soap of course......![]()

A Sapper is someone who quenches your thirst if you require a drink in the desert. If you need to cross the fastest river he will bridge that gap, and if the path ahead is too much to bear, the Sapper will guide you through holding your hand. UBIQUE is his motto - for he and his family have been everywhere.
sounds very much like you need to take the grub screw right out if it turns ok as previuosly said

You laugh at me because I'm strange I laugh at you because your stupid!
A Turkey is for Christmas not for life.
this may sound silly but the silencer inst threaded just pull it of.
This guy reminds me of my early days.
Many a gun with grip marks.
A good tool for griping and not leaving marks, is avalable from moast diy shops. I dont think they are overly expensive. Bound to have someone point it its true name.
Its a handle with a long lacy bit designed for griping pipe work etc.
Should help you grip it better.

If I remember right then i think the part you are talking about is called a boa constricta or some thing of the like! Have you tried winding the grubscrew all the way out?
