    U.B.C Snooker Competition Season 2

Snooker 147 Break Online Competition Season 2

    The Competition:

This is a variation of the snooker target, of the first season. We have listened to your comments and acted accordingly, with thanks to Target Bunny

Like in snooker you can get a maximum break of 147. This means you need to hit a Red then a Black 15 times. After that you need to hit the colours in correct order. Yellow, Green Brown, Blue, Pink & Black.

It will be held once every month and will run for 3 months.

There will be badges for all competitors & an award for the Highest Break at the end of the season. I think it would be a good incentive to do your best, knowing you are going to get something at the end of it.

Now all this is based on Trust & sportsman/woman ship. If you cheat you will only be cheating yourself.

    Target:

Revised Snooker Target The target is uploaded on the U.B.C Competition website as a PDF at the bottom of the page >HERE<.

    Dates:

    1st date 14th March – 21st March
    2nd date 11th April – 18th April
    3rd date 9th May – 16th May

    Categories:

    There will be two categories

    1. Any Pistol with Open Sights
    2. Any Pistol with Optical/Laser Sights

    Rules:

The Rules are identical to achieving 147 break in snooker. On the Target there are Two Wheels, one with 15 Red segments, one with 15 Black segments. You need to shoot one Red segment then a Black segment consecutively and then each colour disc in order Yellow, Green, Brown, Pink & lastly the Black.

Miss one & your break stops and add up your score. If you put 2 pellets into the same Red or Black segment your break stops and one of the double shots is disallowed. The Target is to be set at 6yds.

Illustrations of some of the rules will on the pdf Target look >>HERE<<

    Scoring:

Once the scores are submitted to me via the competition Email ubc.competition@googlemail.com by 23:00 on the last date, I’ll put them on a Leader Board. All scores will be individually added each month. The Person with the highest total will be the winner.

    Awards:

For the over all winner in each category there will >THIS< award

For the Highest Break at the end of season there will be >THIS< award

Each Month there will be >THESE< 1st, 2nd & 3rd Badges awarded in each category (Pistol badges titled 147 Break S2)

End of season White honours badge will be handed out to all competitors (Badge titled Honours)

(These are dedicated awards from season 1 for the overall winner & highest break)

    Season 2 Awards both categories

    Admission:

The cost of Admission will be £6 for one category & £8 for two categories for the whole season. All the money will go towards the awards and posting the awards to the participants at the end of the season.

All people interested put your name down on this thread then contact me via the competition Email ubc.competition@googlemail.com with your postal details & I’ll reply with my Pay Pal address or Postal address

    Names:

Copy & paste from post #2 with your name, pistol & what sights you will be using.

    Regards from the U.B.C

I am in, same pistols as before.
This is going to be much harder.
Am i right in saying if you so much as clip the inner circle, game over.
But you are allowed to clip the dividing white lines.

I could be scoring single figures in this one

    Hi Paddy,

What the diagram does not show is a shot that has fallen half on the corner off a red section and half in the inner circle, which i take it by the inclusion of cut or land in the inner circle break ends, means break ends

Gosh you are picky aren't you

But yes if the inner circle is broken, even if part of the pellet strike is on a red or black segment, it's game over
