    Walnut Stock

Grab a copy of the 'SCREWFIX DIRECT' catalogue. Look for a tin of 'PATINA'
Apply with a soft lint free cloth, in direction of grain, ie:- straight up and down NOT circular.
IF the stock's DRY and clean with NO oil residue, the Patina WILL leave a coating as strong and BRIGHT as Laquer.
Coats can be applied as aften or as MANY times as YOU want, once each coats IS dry.
Makers say 40 minute's, left mine 24 hours JUST to be sure and the stock looks great.
