    custom stocks

    anyone know what oil cs use to finish there stocks.recived mine today and think it could do with a few more coats of oil.would it be ok to use true oil over there finish or would i have to strip it back to bare wood first

    they use tru-oil followed by danish oil.

    i removed the tru-oil/danish oil finish in favour of alkanet/danish oil finish for deeper colour.
