    Question

Thanks.. What about the club that I shoot at, do they need to be FAC registered or is it simply getting permission to shoot FAC at the club.

You need to have the ground passed for FAC use this includes Clubs and farms unless you get an open ticket in which case you can shoot an FAC gun anywhere you think is safe to do so.

You will need to put ground down on your FAC form if the ground anit passed for FAC the FLO will have to check this out to see if its safe to use FAC guns there.

Good luck its a long process so get it started as soon as you can.

The club is irrelevant other than to get you a reference. You must have reason to use - and the only reason to use an FAC airgun is vermin control. For this you must have permission on land passed for FAC.

The controls are very relaxed for FAC airgun.

Every time you shoot on new land you will either have to :

    1. Check it's approved / get it approved
    OR
    2. Your ticket will be, as Gazo pointed out. open which means you use YOUR discretion.

Open tickets may or may not be issued for FAC airguns on a 1st ticket, they are almost never issued for rimmies and up
