How many times have we seen this sort of thing crop up, with people demanding to know who the person is and then the guy comes forward with a perfectly reasonable excuse.

Give him time to respond, if he does let you down THEN seek legal advice. Give the guy a chance before going that far!

E-mail him stating you want an explanation, if no response, name and shame, then do as Gary says, if you feel its nessaccary.

    Whats the point Gary?

All that has happened is that a chap has failed to fulfill a verbal agreement to buy. No one has lost anything other than a vendor has lost a "sales opportunity" - not even a sale. It's rather akin to walking into a shop, getting the bloke to take down a nice new rifle because you tell him you want to buy it, then running off! What legal advice would you get other than...have a cup of tea and put the gun back!

Just put the bloke's name up so we are all aware, kick the cat and go shooting.

    Puff

I'd be very careful here, the individual to whom you refer is a long time veteran of this forum and through personal experience one of the good guys.

It's happened to me on a couple of items where people have said they will have it and then later decided not too. Doesn't bother me. Yes it's a little inconveniant but people can and do change their minds

It would be another story if they had persuaded you to send them the kit before paying...and then failed to pay.

Being Devils advocate, maybe they are waiting for their paycheck to come through and just don't like to admit they haven't got the cash right now. Or they have simply changed their minds. I'm sure there is a simple explanation.

    Cheers

To be fair, have you been in contact and expressed your concerns to him, or just come straight on here? Seems that some members know him and have vouched for him

So somebody said they would buy a gun off you and then changed their mind.
You say he is a non-paying buyer, yet he never bought anything.

Cheers mate not ashamed to admit its me the cash is in your account but what say you admit that you pick up your emails as quickly as you maintain ! I would of course know this working for a tier one internet provider.

Thank you all same might I suggest that if you are not prepared to apologise that you cut me a cheque and return the 330 put in your account today please and one of the plethora of buyers can buy your kit.

    Best regards
