    Head & Hand camo cover

    Hi all,

Which gloves and face cover would you recommend?
Im not sure about face veils or scrim scarfs, as for gloves where can i get some cheap camo gloves?

Your local gun shop will have Cammo gloves and face veils. Deben sell them as well. www.deben.com.

No doubt JSR and BAR will do - I just noticed them on the Deben site as I was yelling down the phone at them for their crap post sales service

I actually made my own head net out of a large skrim net. perfect fit..eye holes just where i need them...and then sewed on patches of camo to break up the shape and they also move in the breeze like leaves. does the job nicely

when it's hot though i just have my safari hat and a skrim over my nose and lower face.

    Nearozero,
I won't comment on face veils/covers but I will about gloves. Cheap gloves are nothing more than an inconvenience, they have to fit well and allow you to retain good control over your gun, pellets, scope etc. To my experience, it is well worth paying a little extra for a pair that fit so you don't have to keep taking them off when loading pellets or doing fiddly jobs.

I don't know about cloth gloves - I have some and they work ok to keep the midges off.

    BUT

I use a pair of Neoprene Cammo gloves for 3 seasons and always for HFT. Grip is superb and they have flip back finger tips. I tend to wear a pair of cotton stretch gloves under them for comfort and warmth in winter
