Webley Supertarget PH17 aperture rearsight for sale

Parker Hale PH 17 rearsight in minty condition with adjustable aperture.
I pulled this off my old .177 Webley Mk3 I had as a callow youth as I preferred the open sights for hunting !
Apparently the adjustable PH diopters sell for £25 alone on that auction sight. Or would swap/px for a Bsa no 21 aperture sight, original box of .25 pellets or any interesting Bsa underlever items/literature or a set of 11mm steel lever scope mounts for a 7/8 inch tube scope.

    £45 including postage and insurance

If one fitted that to a standard Mk3 what else differentiates it from a proper Supertarget?

The Supertarget is only in .177 and has a fatter barrel and so is a heavier gun

Also the Supertarget barrel is not machined for the standard rear sight

The forsight is a better unit on the Supertarget

Most Supertargets have Supertarget stamped on top of cylinder

The early Supertargets have a small cap on the bottom of pistol grip that holds spare forsight elements

There may be other differences not mentioned above
To summarise the Webley Mk3 Supertarget is a very different gun to the standard model particularly the barrel forging
    Hope this helps
