    Hi el maipino,

The only "older" pcp I have ever owned was a Daystate Rentokil gun, or so I was told that's what it was. It had a stainless steel reservoir and a very, very crude one piece trigger/sear mechanism, the top of the trigger was hardened and acted directly on the the hammer.

I don't have the gun anymore, I sold it to a friend who still has it though, so I may be able to get some pictures of it if your interested?
    Please, all pics welcome.

Very nice, what kind of shot count etc do you get?.

Please forgive the lateness of my reply, didn't go over my mates house until this evening to get the pictures of the old daystate:

    Stainless steel Daystate

I have one of these made almost 1000 before the one pictured. OWNED AND USED BY Don Lowndes himself for many years. Can someone enlighten me of its value-- pending possible sale? Incidentally these had Weihrauch open sights fitted as standard, mine still has them on.

    here are my two...

    >>>mk1 huntsman sporter<<<

    >>>mk1 huntsman target<<<

the sporter had the single plate trigger which was awful, when i acquired the target model with the two stage trigger, i removed the trigger and copied it, i now have smashing two stage triggers on both!!...

Beautiful guns. I can see I am going to have to get some more storage space.

    John,
I wish I was in the position you mention, but no, I have just bought what I could afford when I could afford it.

    Excellent collection Rockdrill.

These older PCP are looking better and better.

Would I be right in assuming that in general the build and performance of these older pcp is superior to their modern brothers?

Also, do the older pcp require more maintence than the modern guns? more expensive to maintain?.

What sort of prices would your guns go for today rockdrill? ball park figures.
