I was clearing out a deceased mates place the other day and saw a Falcon FN(something) PCP pistol that I took a fancy to. Without thinking I made an offer for the pistol and the offer was accepted but now I realise that
a. My offer was too low
b. I cannot afford any more than I offered for it.
c. I feel guilty and do not wnat to cheat anyone over a pistol that belonged to a deceased mate.
I did state this at the time but was told that the preferrence is that I have it and pay my money to his widow quickly rather than have the pistol hanging around and someone else has to deal with selling it.
So, what's the fuss?
I still don't feel right about this so need to know a couple of things.
What is the difference between an FN6 and an FN8 pistol?
The one I have is a single shot .22 and has iron sights and a laser fitted.
The pistol grip has lost some of the varnish on the cross checkering There is a tiny dink in the action on the right hand side. Percentage wise I would say 80% on the stock and 90% on the action.
What is it worth?
Either I will sell it on or pay that (honest) amount to his widow.
PLease help!
Cheers
