    HW40 versus Beeman 2004

Hi all, whats the difference between the two pistols above.

Well apart from about £35, they look virtually identical

The HW40 is a Quality German pistol, the Beeman 2004 is a chinese copy for the US market, The Beeman P3 is a rebadged HW40 for the US market, and the Beeman P17 is a cheap chinese copy, you may also see Marksman 2004 (marksman own beeman)

Hi Red, as Jason said the HW40 is a better built and fitted pistol.

I've used them both side by side and the HW does have the edge.

Having said that if the Beeman fits your budget you will not be
    disappointed

    .

Good luck with your choice, Phil

Morning Phil and thanks Cookie, i have just bought a Aeron brno B96, i have yet to use it, but i will today.
I bought this as at the time i couldn't get a secondhand HW40, i know i could have got one new for less money, but hey thats me!! always looking for a bargain.
It's just i came across that Beeman last night brand new £79.95. Whoops £69.95 http://www.wighillparkguns.co.uk/pro...7&froogle=true
Do you think i should stick with the B96.
I was going to have a go at the comps on here

Morning Red, the B96 is a great little target pistol, I would keep hold of it and when a hw40/P3 comes at the right price grab it, you will then have a Co2 and an SSP pistol to use in the comps.

At £70 the Beeman 2004 is a good buy, but for an extra £10-20 you should look out for a second Hand HW40.

    This is a good buy
