Well after all that I couldnt resist and have just orderd a 4" and 8" barrels to swap out, so I Will have the full set

Let me tell you Pilgrim mine don't weigh no 44 ounces even In the summerMy 686 has a 6 inch barrel, and I really wouldn't want anything longer. It weighs 44 ounces (I don't do metric) and while that's not bad for a 2-hand hold, it's a whopper for 1-hand.
AND, I'm sure that lots of mates are going to have fun with this post!
