Does anyone know if the luminous part of the light source can be replaced?

I bought a few of mine from the bay and IIRC paid £25-£40 for them, depending on condition.

The radioactive source for my '70s model was only 'luminous' until about the year 2000 or thereabouts, IIRC from 30 yrs ago! and I would very much doubt if they could be economically replaced.

The price seems to have increased in the last year or so.

As I have previously said, yonks ago on this thread, I've a good few of them.

They were going for around the £15-25 mark a few years ago but now seem to be around £30-35.

2 year gap and then 2 posts. And then 4 more after a 4 year gap? I've had diseases more popular than that
