Mark,
You echo my sentiments of last year, even Webley's PR department sucked...
I would never of thought of getting a BSA rifle until this year and have never looked back.... especially with it being a special one

got a new webley longbow two months ago and was very impressed with the build quality and stock, after 150 pellets it started twanging and i found it was only making 10 ftlbs. i put another 200 pellets through it and it was still the same, spoke to webley and they were very helpfull, sent a courier to pick it up and it returned a week later with a quieter twang, no note or message, two scratches on the stock and it was just touching 9ftlbs.
i assume that all they have done is put some heavey grease on the spring which i could have done myself, i am gutted as i was looking forward to a quality english springer and was also thinking about a lazer glide.
i have dealt with soviet bazzar, BAR, air arms, ben taylor, JSR and bsa, i have never before been unhappy with any sevices provided.
i will never buy another webley!
p.s got rid of it to an old guy who wanted a garden plinker and swapped it for an aa s200 and we are both happy now
