Axsor silencer problems

I got lucky and bought a Webley Axsor. All seems to be working fine, except the silencer adaptor. The end of the barrel is threaded to take a UNF adaptor. But, the barrel is finished with a muzzle-weight type thing which is drilled to allow access to an allen screw on the air cylinder. It seems that the silencer adaptor must not reach and seal with the end of the barrel as air is escaping in large quantities through this hole when a shot is taken, rendering silencers useless. Is this a common problem, and if so, whats the solution? Could there be a barrel end seal missing?

hi, i have the same gun and the same problem i got a little plastic plug from work it works a treat i was told that =the air thats comes from there is like a release valve when they are over pressured i was filling my to 200 but was told it is 170, hope this helps, and i dont suppose you have a manual for yours do as i dont and would like a copy in return i could send you the plastic plugs,, cheers steve
