    s400 open sights

    hi
    i was just wondering if you would be able to fit diopter sights to this rifle.

    the simple answer is yes

    you may need an adaptor for the barrel to house the 11mm dovetail

    Possible but not easy.

    You should be able to find a rear sight that will fit on the scope rail, but the fore sight may need an adapter machined to fit the fore end of the barrel.

    I've seen a UK Neil silencer with dovetail for open sights, laser etc.

    I had a silencer adaptor modified to hold a HW front sight unit and used a Williams Sports peep sight on my Daystate FTR.

    Because we can.

    Theres not much tinkering and fettling you can do with a pcp and shooting a totally recoilless rifle with open sights is fun - and isn't that what airgunning is about.

    I've done it here..... Gamo diopter set, went straight on using a barrel adaptor. Nice to try something different
