Correct ball mould size for .36 cal?

As above - anyone enlighten me please?

I know it's usually .451 for .44 cal, but what do you order for a .36?

    Thanks!

Yes but apart from that, Mrs Lincoln, what did you think of the performance?

P.S. also use a .454 in my R&S, tried .451 but too loose did not leave the ring of lead, again these seem just right, Tezz

Surely the best idea would be to measure the bore? the maximum diameter of the bore should be the same size as the ball. Unless you are patching the ball, when it should be the same as the diameter across the lands of the rifling.

I have a .44, and .451 ball fits well, though the reccomended size was .457, which was way too tight.

    My recommendation in a 36 cal revolver is a 375 or 380 - but then again I put 457 in a 44 - not 451 ......

    Cheers
