Viper Silencer Adapter

Hi,

I'm looking for an adapter to fit a 1/2 UNF silencer onto the barrel shroud of a Webley Viper.

Anybody know where I can get one?

Contact Webley, they sell them for about £10...

But beware.....

You'll need to put some sort of lubricant on so that it doesn't "lock" itself against the silencer, then when you twist the silencer off, the whole barrel shroud comes off in your hand...

Speaking from experience and people can back me up on this, if you don't need to do it, DONT DO IT, you will regret ever getting it done... I did....

I'll take heed of your warning..... I need to put a silencer on as the moderator in the shroud isn't quiet enough and it spooks the bunnies!

But armed with your warning hopefully it will be ok.

Hey Kelly,

I'm enjoying it..... its much easier to handle than the Raider, much lighter too. Only thing is its still a bit loud, hence I'm looking into the adaptor to fit my SFS moderator onto it.

Took it to Hilton Park on Sunday (first time I've ever shot a FT comp) and did surprisingly well, even beat a few people with .177 FT rigs who have shot there quite a few times.

What you selling next then???

Nothing else thats been tuned by me, thats for sure.

Somebody is bitter and twisted then...

And by the way talking of tuning guns, it seems that you lost/forgot the washer between the shroud and the cylinder. but hey! never mind, after reading some of the info from Acenorth and others it seems that I'd be better fitting a rubber gromet anyway.
