    Aluminium Pistol Cases

    Hi Guys

I've been looking for a couple of high quaity aluminimum pistol cases that are around the same dimentions internally as the plastic cases supplied with the general CO2 pistols (Walthers, Berretta's etc, approx 11" x 7" x 2.5")

The closest I've found to this is a site in the US as below (the small Americase)

    http://www.caseplaceusa.com/shopdisp...ericase+Pistol

However, the cost of transport is around $160 which is the same as buying two of them !

Searching the net hasn't thrown up any UK suppliers, has anyone got any info of a UK importer / manufacturer who could make something similar for those dimensions ?

I'm happy to pay a premium for a custom made example if required.

Thanks for any advice / help.

Yeah i'd put my £700 morini in one, but not a £100 Beretta , they'd nick the case and leave the gun

    Hi Guys

Thanks for all repies but I was really after something very close to the dimensions I listed earlier and particularly in aluminium - the ones mentioned are all too deep.

If nothing else comes up, I mayy have to bite the bullet (so to speak) and order a couple from the states and pay the carriage charge.

The cases are for a Berretta 92 custom and DE blowback which is still in it's cardboard box.

    Mmm...

    Airsoft-arsenal.com (item VER-CASESMAL ) - $29.95

From description: Extremely hard-wearing pistol case. Made from high quality aluminium, with foam inserts to keep your pistol safe. Light-weight design. Fits most pistols, right up to Desert Eagle .50 size.

Have no idea regarding UK shops... Will check later. I remember, Airsoft-direct.co.uk had it listed for £14.99, but Airsoft-direct.co.uk is closed down right today!

Airsoftglobal.com has them in stock (seems to be...) for US $22.00. (item HFC-GC-PISTOL-AG ).

The problem is - I am also interested in something looks-like aluminium case suitable for pistol , with locks or holes for padlocks, foam lined and ONLY around 2.5"... So, HFC Aluminium Pistol Case looks nice, but... I am very not sure it full aluminium (possibly not), didn't found any info regarding locks on it.

Later will send e-mail to Airsoftglobal.com with couple of questions.

Any others (including maplins one) - are winners. Full aluminium, locks, quality foam. BUT - yah, to thick.

Anyhow, to end this my "aluminum padded SMALL & TINY Pistol Case" research ... there is another one:

Dont know if this is of use to anyone, but it's a good quality case, although you'll have to source your own foam. It's not very wide either but a beretta should fit in it. Gonna phone them on Mon and check inside dimensions.

    http://www.modelhelicopters.co.uk/ac...ightBoxes.html

It's the T-Rex parts case about half way down, part no. K10391A

    External Dims are 410x175x105.

I used to have one of these when I flew model helis and it is a good case, very strong.
